The Animal Welfare (Primate Licences) (England) Regulations 2023 is a draft legislation laid before the UK Parliament for approval1. This regulation introduces a new licensing regime under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 for the purpose of promoting the welfare of primates kept in England.
