The '''Free Morgan Foundation''' is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of orca whales held in captivity. The foundation was founded in 2010 by Dr. Ingrid Visser, a leading marine biologist and orca expert, in response to the plight of a young female orca named Morgan who was being held captive at a marine park in the Netherlands.

[[Morgan - orca|Morgan]] was discovered in 2010, emaciated and alone, in the Wadden Sea off the coast of the Netherlands. She was captured by the [[Dolfinarium Harderwijk]], a marine park in the Netherlands, and was intended to be transferred to a Spanish marine park. Dr. Visser, along with a team of experts, examined Morgan and determined that she was a healthy juvenile orca that was fully capable of surviving in the wild.
