WSC Whale Chart: A global navigational aid to protect whales was written by the World Shipping Council, a non-profit trade association that represents the liner shipping industry. The purpose and scope of the WSC Whale Chart is to assist readers with voyage planning to minimize the risk of ship strikes to cetaceans.
