The Perfect Pair Dolphin Trilogy - book
The Perfect Pair Dolphin Trilogy is a series of three books written by David C Holroyd and Tracy J Holroyd. The series is a true story of the captive cetacean industry. The books in the series are:
- The Perfect Pair: The Enchanted Mirror: This is the first book in the trilogy and is a core text for the University of Salford’s BA (Hons) English Language and Creative Writing course. It won the Bronze Award in the Wishing Shelf Independent Book Awards 2013.
- The Perfect Pair: The Mirror Cracks: This is the second book in the series, released in January 2014, and was praised for David’s innovative artwork.
- The Perfect Pair: Shards from the Mirror: This is the third and final book of the trilogy, which is being hailed as 'the biggest exposé ever to hit the captive cetacean industry’.
Authors' Comment
Activists are now viewing the award-winning Perfect Pair Dolphin Trilogy as the go-to text in cetacean behaviour. Yet, in truth, it was never written solely for activists. It was written for the public - those people who are at risk of being swayed by the glitzy propaganda of the global aqua circus.
With this in mind, we wrote our exposé in fiction format to avoid legal problems and to distance ourselves from the anti-captivity pamphlets that have failed so miserably to educate the public.
But make no mistake, this is a true story – one that demands to be read.
